Qualifications

• One year experience in an Activity Aide role preferred.
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Plan activities that meet resident needs for groups or individuals.
• Observe and report attendance, participation, and behavior changes.
• Know individual care plans and support care planning with observations.
• Coordinate with volunteers to support activity programs.
• Greet new residents upon arrival.
• Maintain infection control and safety practices at all times.
• Respect residents and maintain dignity and privacy.
• Communicate effectively with residents, visitors, families and staff.
• Report hazardous conditions or equipment issues.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident concerns.
• Attend departmental meetings and in-services.
