Job summary

Core-Mark, a Performance Food Group Company, is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Associate to compile and maintain records, verify counts, and support distribution center operations. Under direct supervision, you will count material, post totals, and investigate discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy.

This role interacts with customers, vendors, and co-workers for timely, professional service. You will maintain accurate inventory, handle salvage and returns, check deliveries, and prepare route

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience.
• 6+ months warehousing, returns/unloader, or related area.
• Ability to work in normal warehouse temperatures including Freezer/Cooler with temperatures ranging from 36°F (2°C) to -10°F (-23°C).
• Physical ability to regularly lift, carry, and position: up to 30 lbs. regularly, up to 40 lbs. frequently, and up to 65 lbs. occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an accurate physical inventory count and records.
• Handle salvage product.
• Check for outdated product.
• Checks in Delivery Drivers
• Inspects and unloads all returning trailers
• Verifies returned goods and damaged product
• Makes decisions about the disposition of returned goods
• Re-enters goods into inventory
• Checks Delivery Driver route tickets, customer orders and prepare for operations.
• Maintains accurate records of returns
• Files invoices and other documents on a daily basis
• Receives Delivery Drivers’ receipts of the day’s customer deliveries
• Receives appointments as needed
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
