Job summary

VP Supply Corp is a leading distributor of plumbing, HVAC, and electrical supplies with over 350 employees across Western New York and Pennsylvania. We seek a B Shift Order Picker for our Rochester branch, offering a Monday–Friday 1:00 PM–10:00 PM schedule and opportunities to contribute to fast-paced, team-driven warehousing operations.

The role emphasizes accurate order fulfillment, safe handling, and inventory control in a high-traffic environment.

Qualifications

1–3 years of shipping, receiving, order selection, packing or stocking experience.
Ability to analyze and solve problems.
Willingness to operate material handling equipment.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
Reliable daily transportation to Rochester branch.
Overtime availability for A and B shifts.

Responsibilities

Inspect product deliveries for damages and verify they match internal Purchase Orders.
Ensure accuracy of quantities delivered.
Reconcile discrepancies with shipment and PO; take corrective action.
Store products safely and position for order pulls and inventory control.
Pull customer orders and verify accuracy against specifications.
Load products onto trucks and secure them for transit.
Review inventory levels to maintain stocking min/max.
Maintain knowledge of warehouse and inventory control policies.
Enforce warehouse receiving policies with suppliers.
