Job summary

Barnes & Noble Booksellers, Inc. is hiring Temporary Warehouse Clerks for a 3pm–11:30pm, Monday–Friday shift. You’ll ensure accurate picking and packing to fulfill store and dot com orders, while upholding safety and efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse.

You will lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, maintain order accuracy, and contribute to meeting daily production goals. Prior warehouse experience is a plus; training and onboarding are provided.

Qualifications

• Maintain safe work practices at all times.
• Basic written and verbal communication and math skills.
• Detail-oriented and accurate in tasks.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety protocols and foster a safe work environment.
• Fill customer and store orders accurately and promptly.
• Work across warehouse areas as needed, lifting 10–35 lbs, occasionally 50 lbs.
• Meet or exceed daily production goals with urgency and care.
• Follow department best practices and procedures.
• Support new hires and transfers with questions.
• Communicate questions or concerns to booksellers and management.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
