Job summary

Los Altos Foods is seeking a Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator to support receiving, moving, storing, and preparing products for shipment in a cheese manufacturing environment.

The role operates forklifts and pallet jacks, maintains inventory accuracy, and collaborates with production and shipping teams to meet daily deadlines in a fast-paced facility. This is a hands-on position that requires safety discipline and adherence to quality standards. Evening shift is 3:00 PM–11:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred.
• Warehouse or manufacturing experience.
• At least 3 months of related experience.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• SAP, Excel, or other inventory system experience is a plus.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced cheese manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
• Load and unload pallets and materials.
• Move products between production, warehouse, and storage areas.
• Receive and inspect incoming products.
• Prepare products and materials for shipment.
• Complete daily inventory counts.
• Identify and report inventory discrepancies or damaged products.
• Complete shipping and receiving documentation.
• Use computer systems to track inventory and shipments.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow company safety and food manufacturing procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
