Job summary

ABM Industries in Riverside, California is seeking a reliable Warehouse Janitorial Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in our facilities. This role involves operating specialized equipment and handling cleaning chemicals. You will support general janitorial duties and follow safety procedures.

Shift is 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM, with a pay rate of $17.50 per hour. ABM offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.
A high school diploma, GED, or college degree is not required.
1 year of similar work experience preferred.
1 year of customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain assigned buildings and facilities to ensure a sanitary and safe environment.
Clean and sanitize restrooms – this is an essential responsibility.
Service and restock restrooms with necessary supplies.
Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
Follow assigned work schedules and report barriers.
Move cabinets, furniture, and equipment to clean areas manually or with hand trucks.
Clean interior glass, windows, and mirrors using appropriate cleaning solutions and tools.
Gather and dispose of trash/recyclables.
Notify management of repairs or additions to building systems.
Establish and maintain effective communication with clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
Adhere to safety, security, compliance, and quality standards.
