Job summary

Staples Advantage Canada is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support multiple clean and safe distribution roles within our Staples Supply Chain operations. You will operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and cherry pickers to move product and assist in receiving, returns, and shipping processes.

Emphasis on safety, teamwork, and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment. The role offers part-time or full-time opportunities with a competitive pay rate and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) months related experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to pass a drug screen where legally permissible.
• Basic English language skills (verbal and written).
• Overtime hours may be required beyond scheduled shift for full-time associates.
• Able to lift/push/pull boxes weighing 70–100 lbs by hand.
• Must wear safety composite shoes and be able to walk/stand constantly.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment to pick/move product up to 100 lbs in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Support six potential roles including Bulk/Material Handling, Porter, Replenishment, Receiving/Putaway/Returns, Returns, and Shipping.
• Adhere to safety procedures and keep your work area clean and organized.
• Unload trucks manually and assist with palletizing and stacking.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and internal/external contacts to resolve issues.
