Job summary

Scholastic is seeking a Part Time Seasonal Warehouse Associate to join the Phoenix team. The role involves building a book fair supply chain, fulfilling customer orders, operating scanners, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Starting pay is $17.00 per hour with a $1.50 shift differential for hours after 2:00 PM. The position offers a path to learn warehouse operations and contribute to Scholastic’s mission of promoting reading.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong team player and ability to get along with co-workers.
• Good verbal/written communication skills, basic math, and ability to read English documents such as safety rules and operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in Warehouse Associate - Level I duties including production, returns, order fulfillment, scanning, replenishment, packing, and restocking.
• Meet production, accuracy, and quality standards.
• Follow safety policies and keep the work area neat, safe, and organized.
• Operate motorized pallet jacks after training.
• Support occasional temporary projects for team development.
