Job summary

HD Supply is seeking a General Warehouse Associate for the 5pm shift in Wood Dale, IL. You will work across multiple DC functions including picking, shipping, receiving, returns, loading, and replenishment.

The role requires operating material handling equipment and maintaining inventory while ensuring safety and accuracy. Preferred candidates have a HS diploma or GED and 2–5 years of DC experience, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in distribution center operations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Operates material handling equipment to move inventory within the facility.
• Assists with staging and loading orders into trucks for delivery to customers.
• Verifies quantity and quality of incoming products from vendors and distribution centers.
• Uses packing lists to collect items for customer orders and builds pallets for shipment.
• Inspects stock for wear or defects and reports issues to management.
• Maintains clean, safe work environment per company policies.
• Performs inventory control tasks as needed.
