Job summary

Ferraro Foods is seeking a Warehouse Associate (internally titled Warehouse Multifunction Associate) in New York to support loading/unloading, moving products, staging outbound deliveries, and maintaining safe, organized work areas.

In this role you will work in a multi-temperature warehouse, operate or learn equipment (including electric pallet jacks), and collaborate with team members to keep daily operations running smoothly. Training and safety are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
• Ability to operate or learn warehouse equipment, including electric pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and move product up to 80 lbs. throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical work throughout the workday.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Attention to detail and safety.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to support different operational areas as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Assist with loading and unloading product throughout the day.
• Move product safely throughout the warehouse and loading areas.
• Stage and organize product for outbound deliveries.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Support warehouse and transportation operations based on daily business needs.
• Safely use warehouse equipment as trained.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned.
• Work as part of a team to keep daily operations running efficiently.
