Job summary

Scholastic is hiring a Warehouse Associate for a part-time, seasonal role in Colorado. The position runs 3:30PM to 11PM on weekdays with a base hourly rate of $18.50 and an additional $1.50 for hours worked after 2PM.

The role involves packing, inventory, and order fulfillment in a fast-paced warehouse environment. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and basic scanner proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate basic product scanner proficiency (i.e., ordering replenishment) with minimal errors.
• Strong team player and the ability to get along with co-workers.
• Good verbal/written communication skills, basic math skills, and ability to read English documents (safety rules, operating instructions).

Responsibilities

• Assist in the production of book fairs by packing cases, boxes, and displays with book and non-book product.
• Demonstrate proficiency in packing components for cases, boxes, and displays.
• Meet minimum production, accuracy, or quality standards.
• Ensure outbound items are clean, safe, and in good condition.
• Assist in processing returns and replenishment tasks.
• Monitor inventory levels on relevant product lines.
• Learn basic scanner proficiency for item inquiries and replenishment requests.
• Assist in picking and packing customer reorders.
• Keep work area neat, safe, and organized at all times.
• Participate in seasonal inventory resets and QA scanning functions.
• Assist in physical inventory and customer appreciation sale events.
