Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Travel MRI Technologist for an evening shift assignment in Saint Louis, Missouri. The role requires ARRT certification, BLS, 2+ years MRI experience, and familiarity with inpatient and outpatient imaging settings, including ICU and trauma cases.

The assignment is 16 weeks, 40 hours per week, with a 2:30pm–1am schedule Mon-Thu (potential Tue-Fri with notice). GE 1.5T/3T scanners, Visage PACS, and Epic EMR usage are involved.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required; license required if applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2+ years of MRI experience; adolescent to geriatric population.
• Successful completion of an accredited Radiography program.
• Must obtain advanced ARRT registry in MRI within 1 year of hire if not already held.
• GE 1.5T and 3T scanner experience preferred; Epic EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized MRI procedures resulting in diagnostic images.
• Provide essential patient care during MRI procedures and apply MR safety principles.
• Work with all patient types, including vented ICU, ER, stroke and trauma cases.
• Maintain high standards of patient communication and safety throughout exams.
• Collaborate with radiologists and technologists as part of the MRI team.
