Job summary

Greenway Waste & Recycling in Indianapolis, IN is hiring Part-Time Evening Trash Collectors to service communities in the Indianapolis area. Most shifts are 1–4 hours per evening, starting at 8:00 PM, Sunday through Thursday, with Fridays and Saturdays off.

You will collect bagged trash and recycling from residents, transport waste to the on-site dumpster, and walk the community during service hours, staying independent while following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation required.
• A pickup truck, trailer, or cargo van is required.
• Smartphone for work communication.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Collect bagged trash and recycling from residents’ doorsteps.
• Transport waste to the on-site dumpster or compactor area.
• Walk the apartment community during service hours.
• Work independently while following company policies and safety procedures.
