Sittercity.com connects Seattle families with trusted sitters. A Friendly Wedgwood family seeks a warm, reliable sitter for their 20-month-old daughter, Monday to Friday 3:30–6:30 PM (~15 hrs/week), starting late October.

Responsibilities include playing with the child, providing a snack or dinner, diapering/help with potty-training, light tidying after care, and occasional drives in your own car with the child's car seat. The family also has a mellow dog that needs to be let out and played with.

Qualifications

• Ideal: toddler care experience.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it preferred.
• Safe driving record and license essential.
• Non-smoker and comfortable around dogs.
• Strong communication and reliability expected.
• References appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Play and engage in age-appropriate activities with the child.
• Provide snacks or dinner as needed.
• Assist with diapering and early potty-training support.
• Light tidying after activities and care.
• Occasional drives to the park or library in your own car with child seat.
