Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or bachelor’s degree in Recreation Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, Education, or related field preferred.
• Experience with youth in behavioral health, residential treatment, healthcare, education, or human services preferred.
• Valid NYS driver’s license with clean driving record; CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

Aufgaben

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and facilitating daily recreational, educational, and therapeutic activities for youth.
• Develop activity schedules meeting physical, emotional, cognitive, social, and developmental needs.
• Supervise youth during activities and outings, ensuring safety and program expectations.
• Promote positive social interactions, teamwork, and healthy coping skills through recreation.
• Transport youth to community outings and coordinate on-campus and off-ground trips.
