Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Idaho is hiring a Sterile Processing Technician at Nampa Medical Center. You will perform decontamination, cleaning, inspection, and sterilization of reusable surgical instruments, supporting both inpatient and outpatient procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Clean, inspect, and package surgical instruments, specialty sets and other re-usable instruments following all procedures and regulations.
• Operate sterilization equipment including washers, steam sterilizers and other sterilizers.
• Prepare surgical case carts and respond to requests for instrumentation and supplies.
• Order and restock the surgery department with supplies and instruments.
• Opportunity to work toward CRCST or CSPDT national certification.
