Job summary

TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital in Kentucky is seeking a Certified Sterile Processing Technician to support surgical teams by ensuring instruments are clean, sterile, and ready for use. You will assemble sets, manage inventory, and help maintain records to protect patient safety.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and CRCST or CSPDT certification. Travel is not required, and prior experience is not necessary.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate / GED is required.
• CRCST certification or CSPDT certification required.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning, inspecting, assembling, and sterilizing surgical instruments and trays to ensure sterility and readiness.
• Managing sterilization equipment and keeping accurate records to support patient safety.
• Preparing customized surgical sets and case carts based on daily schedules and procedure needs.
• Managing inventory and supplies in OR storage and specialty lockers with the surgical team.
• Responding quickly to instrument requests during surgeries and solving urgent equipment needs.
