Qualifications

• Graduate from Instrument Tech or Surgery Tech training program.
• California Fire and Life Safety Card – National Organization within 30 days of hire.
• Sterile Processing Certification upon hire.
• 1 year of Instrument Tech or Surgery Tech experience within an acute care facility.

Responsibilities

• Receives and processes incoming supplies, instrumentation and equipment.
• Performs cleaning and sterilizing duties.
• Prepares packs of supplies, linens, and instruments in SPD as directed.
