Job summary

Kidz Choice Services, Inc, is currently seeking a master's level Certified Special Education teacher, grades 7 to 12, with a valid Students with Disabilities teaching certification, in the Staten Island area (10306). Candidates with ABA knowledge/experience are preferred but not required.

Candidate cannot be a current employee of the NYC DOE Responsibilities include providing academic support in the home setting, implementing behavioral strategies, maintaining documentation, and collaborating

Qualifications

• NYS Special Education teaching certificate required; Certification grades 7 to 12.
• ABA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing academic support in the home setting.
• Implementing behavioral strategies to increase sustained attention and decrease off-task behaviors.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Monitoring child's progress and adjust strategies as needed.
• Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with staff members.
