Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s is seeking a part-time Shuttle/Transportation team member in the Parking & Transportation department. Evening shift, 20 hours per week (0.5 FTE), regular status. Duties include operating the shuttle between campus and off-site parking and supporting Mobile Care Clinic operations.

Responsibilities also cover customer service, vehicle maintenance, and compliance with DOT and safety standards, plus coordination with leadership for scheduling and supplies.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of related work experience.
  • DOT physical card and valid CDL with passenger endorsement; must meet safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Vehicle Operation - Operate, on a scheduled basis, a CCHMC shuttle Bus or any other CCHMC vehicle. Provide transportation to and from off-site parking and between campus and off campus sites.
  • Mobile Care Clinic - Assist with onboarding, coordinate daily operations, and follow infection control, regulatory, and safety standards; assist with equipment setup/breakdown and supplies management.
  • Customer Service - Meet and exceed expectations; check-in/registration duties; verify demographics and insurance and ensure accurate entries.
  • Vehicle Maintenance - Maintain a clean, safe vehicle; perform pre/post-trip inspections; coordinate routine service with Transportation Services.
  • Special Assignments - Perform other driving duties for events and outreach programs.
  • Compliance - Follow DOT regulations and ensure vehicle adherence to clinical guidelines.
