Job summary

Eaton Corporation in Greenwood, SC is seeking a Shipping Technician II (2nd Shift) to support outbound and inbound logistics for manufacturing operations. Core hours 3:30 pm - 11:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with a $1.00 per hour shift premium and eligibility for a variable incentive program.

You will handle shipping docs, inventory updates, and interact with carriers and internal teams. You'll operate forklifts, prepare loads, verify materials, and maintain 5S+ standards while ensuring safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Forklift or Pallet Jack certification or be trainable on hire.
• Ability to read and interpret shipping documents and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily shipping and receiving activities in alignment with priorities.
• Monitor hot shipments and ensure urgent orders are on time.
• Prepare, stage, load, and label outbound shipments per the shipping plan.
• Create and maintain load sheets, shipment records, and documentation.
• Schedule carrier pickups and coordinate loading times with internal teams.
• Complete shipping documentation including BOLs and packing lists.
• Receive materials, verify against PO, update inventory records, and close daily receiving.
• Inspect materials for quality and identify nonconforming items.
• Identify discrepancies and submit error reports; maintain system updates for inventory control.
• Operate forklifts/pallet jacks and assist with crating/packaging.
• Communicate daily pass-down information across shifts.
