Job summary

Iovance Biotherapeutics is seeking a Supervisor, Engineering & Maintenance to lead second-shift maintenance and calibration for cGMP manufacturing, labs, and warehouse facilities. You will resolve escalations, diagnose issues in real-time, and ensure maintenance follows approved instructions.

The role requires hands-on work with HVAC, electrical, and process utilities systems, strong reading of drawings, and coordination with external vendors.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Engineering required, or equivalent experience.
• 5–10 years in BioPharma/Life Sciences required; cell therapy manufacturing desirable.
• 3–4 years in maintenance/calibration management.
• Strong background in chiller/boiler plants, pumps and HVAC equipment.
• Experience with CMMS and Building Management/Environmental Monitoring Systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance/calibration functions on second shift.
• Resolve escalations and diagnose issues in real-time.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and P&IDs; coordinate with external vendors.
• Ensure safety of personnel and equipment; enforce GMP documentation.
• Maintain training and readiness of the maintenance team; participate in hiring.
