Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree: Medical Technology or a related discipline.
• Upon hire: National Medical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology. Or
• Upon hire: National Medical Technologist - American Medical Technologists. Or
• Upon hire: National Medical Technologist - American Society for Clinical Pathology. Or
• Upon hire: National Technologist in Microbiology - American Society for Clinical Pathology. Or
• Upon hire: National Medical Laboratory Scientist - American Medical Technologists.

Responsibilities

• Performs assays accurately and timely on patient samples using a variety of automated and manual testing procedures to aid physician in patient diagnosis and treatment.
• Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, safety, environmental and infectious control standards so that the laboratory remains in compliance with accreditation and licensing agencies.
