Job summary

Woodland Grove Health and Rehab in Jacksonville, FL is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide bedside nursing care, administer medications, and document treatments on a 3-11 shift. Employees may receive a $4,000 sign-on bonus for full-time or $2,000 for part-time, depending on classification.

Qualifications

• Up to date first aid and CPR certification.
• Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse with FL state license.
• Excellent technical, assessment, and documentation skills.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Able to stand and/or walk for more than four (4) hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care. Administer medications and document therapeutic effects.
• Assist with resident comfort.
• Prepare and administer injections and/or enemas.
• Collect samples and monitor catheters.
• Take TPR (temperature, pulse, & rate), blood pressure, weighing of residents, etc., as directed.
• Assist in the orientation and training of other staff, as requested.
• Other special projects and duties, as assigned.

Summary of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

Provide nursing care to residents as prescribed by the physician and in accordance with standards of nursing practice and regulations and as directed by the Director of Nursing.
