Job summary

Wafna is hiring a Forklift Operator to support warehouse operations in our California branch. The role focuses on optimizing loads, inventory management via RF scanning, and compliant handling of goods.

Responsibilities include packaging, order verification, loading and unloading shipments, and maintaining safety standards. Physical endurance and ability to lift heavy items are required, with overtime and evening shifts possible.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate forklifts, pallet jacks and related warehouse equipment.
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks under time constraints.
• Must be able to lift over 50 pounds and work in varied conditions.

Responsibilities

• Package finished product for shipping (shrink wrap, boxing, labeling).
• Check orders to ensure correct assembly and readiness for delivery.
• Verify item counts and support inventory maintenance and counts.
• Load finished product onto trucks and unload into designated areas.
• Perform quality control to prevent damaged goods from leaving the facility.
• Operate within standard procedures and use forklifts/pallet jacks.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment and secure loads for transport.
• Prepare orders for delivery and assist other departments as needed.
