Job summary

XPO is hiring a Forklift Operator to join our dock team in Pennsylvania. The role involves sorting, loading and unloading freight, operating forklift and pallet jack, and ensuring goods are secured for transport. The position starts at $22.85 per hour with an afternoon/evening shift and benefits for those working 30+ hours weekly.

You will work on a non climate-controlled dock, follow safety policies, and use handheld devices to track shipments. Prior dock/warehouse experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator.
• Available to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight
• Use pallet jack and forklift to move goods
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools
• Work safely and adhere to company safety policies
• Use handheld devices to scan and track shipments
• Work on a dock that is not climate-controlled for extended periods
