Job summary

Valet Living is hiring part-time Doorstep Trash Collection Specialists (Service Valets) to keep apartment communities clean, safe, and welcoming. This role offers reliable evening work close to home with a local schedule and opportunities for extra income.

Typical shifts run 10–15+ hours per week, Sunday-Thursday after 7:00 or 8:00 PM. You will collect trash at doorsteps and transport it to the on-site compactor using your own vehicle with a trailer or open-bed truck.

Qualifications

• Own either an open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle paired with an open utility trailer used for the job; SUVs, sedans, and vans do not qualify.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Active auto insurance for the vehicle being used.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Smartphone with a data plan to download and use our work app, plus SMS/text communications during pre-employment and employment.

Responsibilities

• Collect bagged trash and cardboard from apartment doorsteps and transport to the on-site compactor using your open-bed pickup truck or tow vehicle with utility trailer.
• Service one or more nearby apartment communities during your shift, all within the same local area.
• Stay active by walking apartment communities, climbing stairs, and working outdoors.
• No long-distance driving, bulk item collection, or off-site dumping.
• Use our mobile app to check in, track work, and take photos when needed.
