Brittain Resorts & Hotels in Myrtle Beach is hiring a Server to provide accurate food and beverage service with a quick, courteous approach. You will handle cash and card transactions, assist with side work, and help ensure guests have an enjoyable dining experience.

This seasonal full-time role requires clear communication with guests and coworkers, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a positive attitude. Weekly pay and a benefits package are offered to eligible team members.

Qualifications

• Server experience preferred.
• Clear and professional communication with guests, coworkers and supervisors.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to customer satisfaction by accurately serving orders in a quick and courteous manner.
• Performs opening, mid-shift, closing side work for seamless transitions between shifts.
• Suggests and up-sells appropriate beverages, cocktails and food items.
• Learns the Restaurant Manager POS System to ring up orders and process bills.
• Follows state laws and company policies for beverage service.
• Handles difficult situations and informs supervisor of issues.
• Responds to guest questions with local information as required.
• Provides prompt table turning and assists with clearing and setting tables.
• Other duties as assigned.
