Job summary

Vitalia Westlake is seeking a part-time Server to join our friendly dining team in Westlake, OH. The role runs Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday, from 4:00pm to 7:30pm, with a pay range of $15–$23 per hour.

You will greet residents, assist with meal service, bussing, and maintain a warm, welcoming dining environment for our residents. Ideal candidates are at least 16 years old, proficient in English, energetic, able to stand for long periods, and capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
• Must read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency with residents.
• Positive and energetic attitude towards residents.
• Active as the role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and assist after a fall.
• Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and make them feel welcome in the dining room.
• Engage with residents and foster a friendly dining environment.
• Assist with meal service preparation and bussing tables.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in common areas and dining spaces.
• Communicate dietary concerns or changes to supervisors as needed.
