Job summary

Johnny's Selected Seeds seeks an Automation Operator II – Seed Packing for the evening shift at our Winslow, Maine facility. This full-time, year-round role runs Monday to Friday, 2:30 pm–11:00 pm, with overtime as needed.

Starting pay is $24.66 per hour. You will operate and troubleshoot seed packing automation equipment, lead a team of staff on the shift, ensure safe, accurate production, maintain SOPs and records, and collaborate with maintenance, quality, and engineering to improve

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to learn, operate, and troubleshoot seed packing automation equipment.
• Capacity to lead a shift team and coordinate workflow.

Responsibilities

• Oversee seed packing automation workflow and equipment.
• Lead shift staff and coordinate with other departments.
• Maintain SOPs, logs, production records.
• Train and mentor new staff.
• Assist in maintenance and process improvements.
