Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time surveillance patrol in Independence, KY. The role offers shifts from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM on Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat, and Sun, with a pay rate of $18.22 per hour.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted under applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking, access points, and perimeter to identify unusual activity.
• Monitor access, verify credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and coordinate with site contacts and responders.
• Complete detailed activity reports and communicate security concerns to appropriate personnel.
