Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer for a truck gate setting in Minooka, IL. You will safeguard clients, monitor zones, perform patrols, control access, and deliver professional service at a logistics site.

The role is full-time with a pay rate of $17.50 per hour and a schedule spanning Mon-Sun evenings. You’ll join a team committed to integrity and customer care.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check conducted per laws.
• Criminal histories considered in line with applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required per state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, including docks and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site procedures.
• Help deter unauthorized access, theft, and other security concerns by reporting unusual activity.
