Qualifications

1 year of janitorial experience or 1 year of supervisory experience.
Full-time schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 pm–10:30 pm.
Location: Newton Rayzor Elementary, Denton, TX.

Responsibilities

Keeps buildings clean and orderly. Performs heavy cleaning duties including cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.
Collects and disposes of trash following procedures and infection control plans.
Dusts and damp mops floors following procedures.
Moves equipment and furniture for cleaning and places furniture back in correct placement.
Cleans assigned areas with materials and equipment; sanitizes surfaces; follows eight-step cleaning procedure.
Washes walls, windows and baseboards to maintain a clean, safe environment.
Seeks out areas requiring cleaning; completes tasks assigned by supervisor.
Performs tasks per federal, state and county guidelines.
Strips, scrubs, buffs and refinishes floors; shampoos carpet.
Contributes to the team with professionalism.
Performs other duties as assigned.
