Job summary

Upper Arlington City Schools is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Worker to maintain district facilities, equipment, and grounds. The role runs Monday–Friday 2:00 p.m.

to 10:30 p.m., 8 hours a day, 5 days per week, at Graf Building, reporting to the Director of Operational Services. Responsibilities include servicing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and safety compliance; performing routine inspections; maintaining records; and assisting with grounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three years of maintenance experience required.
• Experience or knowledge of building trades preferred.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of students.
• Perform maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other systems.
• Repair and maintain building interiors and exteriors.
• Maintain records of operations and maintenance activities.
• Promote safe practices and customer service.
