Beacon Hill Schools seeks a dependable School Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students and staff. The role supports classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas and requires the ability to travel between locations as needed.

Hours are approximately 4pm to 8pm, Monday through Friday. The position emphasizes reliability, attention to detail, and adherence to safety policies to ensure a sanitary environment across campuses.

Qualifications

• Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism.
• Must pass background checks as required by state policies.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors in classrooms, hallways, and offices.
• Empty trash, recycle, and dispose of waste properly.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies.
• Wipe surfaces and dust furniture and fixtures.
• Set up or remove furniture for events and classroom changes.
• Cross-campus support and travel between locations as needed.
• Follow school policies and safety protocols; report hazards.
