Job summary

GRBS is hiring a Part-time Custodian for Okemos Public Schools. Multiple evening shifts are available (5:00 pm–9:00 pm, 6:00 pm–10:00 pm, 5:00 pm–11:00 pm, 6:00 pm–9:00 pm, 6:00 pm–10:00 pm) Monday–Friday with occasional weekend work.

Responsibilities include cleaning tasks such as mopping, dusting, restroom care, trash removal, and following building maps. Pay is $16.50/hour with mileage reimbursement and travel time. Benefits are offered after one year of service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older with valid ID and possess leadership experience.
• Michigan public schools requirements exclude individuals with theft, violence or drug-related backgrounds.
• Must have valid proof of auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Come to work consistently.
• Follow GRBS Process.
• Have mindful communication with respect to all.
• Finish the job to the building map and shift.
• Mopping, Dusting, Cleaning restrooms, Removing trash, and other cleaning tasks as assigned.
