Job summary

Beacon Hill Schools is seeking a dependable School Custodian for evening hours to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. The role supports classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas, with a schedule from 4pm to 8pm, Monday through Friday.

Candidates should be detail-oriented, reliable, and able to lift up to 50 lbs. Some custodial experience is preferred, plus the ability to travel between school locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors in classrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas.
• Empty trash and recycling and dispose of waste properly.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies.
• Wipe down desks, tables, counters, and door handles.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Monitor and restock cleaning and restroom supplies as needed.
• Set up or remove furniture for events or changes as needed.
• Assist with seasonal or deep cleaning projects (carpets, windows).
• Travel between locations to support sanitation continuity.
