Richland County School District One is seeking a Night Custodian for the Facilities Management team in Columbia, South Carolina. The role involves performing basic custodial and groundskeeping tasks to ensure a clean and safe environment for students and staff.

Shifts available include 1:30pm - 9:30pm, 2:30pm - 10:30pm or 3:00pm - 11:00pm. Minimum six months of cleaning/industrial experience required; salary range $28,123.00 - $41,066.00 per year; non-exempt status.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education and Training: Requires a minimum of six months experience in a cleaning or industrial environment.
• Must be physically able to operate cleaning equipment and lift up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Cleans restrooms, hallways, classrooms, offices and cafeterias; removes trash; sanitizes and disinfects surfaces.
• Sets up rooms, tables and chairs for events.
• Operates floor buffers, carpet cleaners and other cleaning equipment; maintains floors and surfaces.
