Job summary

Grand Forks Public Schools is seeking a part-time custodian at Lewis & Clark Elementary School in Grand Forks, ND. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and basic knowledge of housekeeping, floor care and safety practices. Work primarily 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend events.

Pay ranges from $16.42 to $20.31 per hour, plus a $1.00 evening shift differential. Responsibilities include general cleaning, snow removal, equipment operation, and assistance

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic knowledge of housekeeping, floor care and safety practices.
• Ability to lift 60 pounds and operate cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform general custodial duties including floor care and cleaning.
• Perform grounds maintenance including snow removal and lawn/garden tasks.
• Assist other building personnel with event preparation.
• Acquire knowledge of building mechanical systems.
• Assist Head/Lead Custodian and district maintenance personnel in operation and repair of mechanical systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the principal or custodial supervisor.
