Frewsburg Central School District in Frewsburg, NY seeks a Cleaner for the 2026-2027 school year. The role involves routine cleaning duties across two buildings, with a 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM shift and a pay range of $16.10 to $17.00 per hour plus a small shift differential.

As a support staff member, you will mop floors, dust surfaces, handle trash, launder linens, deliver mail and supplies, and clean fixtures and drapes. The position is full-time for ten months with additional July–August days.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of building cleaning methods, procedures and equipment.
• Ability to understand and follow simple oral and written directions.
• Willingness to perform routine cleaning and other manual tasks.
• Ability to get along well with others; thoroughness and dependability.

Responsibilities

• Mops and sweeps floors, stairs and hallways.
• Dusts desks, woodwork, furniture and other equipment.
• Collects and disposes of trash and garbage and empties waste baskets.
• Takes soiled linens to the laundry.
• Delivers mail, packages and supplies.
• Washes blackboards, sinks and other fixtures.
• Washes drapes and curtains and cleans venetian blinds.
