Job summary

White Bear Lake Area Schools #624 is seeking an Assistant Head Custodian Engineer for the North Star building. The role runs 8 hours daily, 2:00p–10:00p, Monday through Friday, with licensing required and duties including cleaning and minor maintenance under supervision.

Starting August 31, 2026 or upon filled, with a starting hourly rate between $28.06 and $29.05 per hour as per the Custodial Agreement. Valid Minnesota driver’s license and a 2nd Class Boilers license or equivalent is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license in Minnesota is required.
• 2nd Class Boilers License is requested; Special License may be considered for upgrading your license if no qualified candidates apply.

Responsibilities

• Performs semiskilled work cleaning and maintaining school building interiors and exteriors, supervising pm staff in the same, and related work as apparent or assigned.
• Work is performed under the close supervision of the Building Principal, Head Custodial Engineer, Maintenance Supervisor, and Assistant Director of Building Operations.
