Job summary

Kent Quality Foods Inc is seeking a hands-on Sanitation and Facilities Team Member in Grand Rapids, MI. You will clean and sanitize production equipment and facility areas, handle debris, and ensure safe, compliant operations across shifts. Strong attention to detail and dependable work habits are essential.

The role includes adhering to GMP, chemical-handling, and PPE requirements, plus collaborating with the team to maintain a clean, safe work environment. Experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Dependable, safety-minded, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to safely use cleaning products, tools, and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production equipment and facility areas.
• Remove meat debris and light grease using approved equipment.
• Safely use cleaning chemicals and high‑pressure hoses.
• Clean restrooms, break rooms, offices, halls and shared spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, disinfect, remove trash, and restock supplies.
• Assist with pre-operational inspections.
• Document completed work and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow food safety, GMP, chemical-handling, Lockout/Tagout, and PPE requirements.
• Help with other custodial and facility duties as needed.
