Job summary

Waypoint Detailed Delivery is hiring a Part-Time Route Driver for evening and night shifts to transport food and agriculture samples from client sites to laboratories. You will operate company vehicles and use mobile tools to execute routes and log data accurately.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (must meet insurance requirements).
• Successful completion of a background check.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (samples transported in coolers).
• Ability to stand, balance, and perform tasks while on ladder.
• Ability to use hands effectively to operate equipment, tools and related materials.
• Ability to work in environments with sustained cold temperatures.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate a company-provided vehicle to complete scheduled routes
• Pick up and transport food and agriculture samples from client locations to laboratory destinations
• Communicate with dispatch
• Accurately enter and track sample data using provided mobile tools
• Follow all company policies, safety regulations, and traffic laws
