Job summary

Cura Health in Minnesota is seeking an Evening Long-Term Care Nurse (RN/LPN) to oversee resident care, administer medications, and lead the evening team.

This role offers full-time/part-time options, the 2:00pm-10:30pm shift with a $3 shift differential, and every other weekend and holiday coverage to ensure a safe, supportive environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Experience as RN or LPN in long-term care setting.
• Evening shift availability required.
• Ability to supervise CNAs and coordinate care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical and compassionate care to long-term care residents during the evening shift.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
• Monitor resident vitals, document notes in the EHR, and assess condition changes.
• Guide, mentor, and support CNAs and junior staff on duty.
• Collaborate with physicians, families, and care teams to update individualized care plans.
• Act as clinical leader during the evening shift to handle urgent medical situations.

Every other weekend/holiday

• Resident Care: Provide direct clinical and compassionate care to long-term care and post-acute residents during the evening shift.
• Medication & Treatment: Administer prescribed medications and treatments in compliance with safety protocols and state/federal regulations.
• Assessments & Documentation: Monitor resident vitals, evaluate condition changes, and document accurate notes in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
• Team Supervision: Guide, mentor, and support certified nursing assistants (CNAs) and junior care staff on duty.
• Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, family members, and interdisciplinary care teams to update individualized care plans.
• Emergency Response: Act as a clinical leader during the evening shift to handle urgent medical situations or facility safety needs
