Job summary

Wilson Medical Center is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 5x8 evening shift with rotating weekends and holidays. This in-person role involves assessing patients, planning and delivering care, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to support rehab and long-term care patients.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license is required.
• Degree from an accredited nursing school is required.
• Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire is required.
• One year of experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
• Initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provide care appropriate to the patient’s condition and age.
• Document medical necessity in the medical record.
• Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Conduct timely and accurate QI assessments.
