Ochsner Health in Lafayette, LA seeks a Registered Nurse leader to deliver patient care using the nursing process within the Nurse Practice Act, and to supervise licensed and ancillary team members while pursuing quality outcomes.

Night shift; requires RN license in state and current BLS. A Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred. You’ll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure compassionate, safe care and adherence to standards.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsabilidades

• Uses the nursing process to deliver patient care.
• Assesses learning needs and teaches the patient, family, and other groups.
• Communicates, delegates, and manages nursing team resources (human and fiscal) properly and serves as a leader on the interdisciplinary team.
• Uses data to evaluate and promote change to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Promotes patient privacy and respectful care while ensuring safety and quality.
• Adapts care to diverse patient populations and circumstances.
• Performs other related duties as required.
