Allied Universal is seeking an entry-level Security Officer in Florence, KY to monitor and protect clients at a retail location, delivering welcoming customer service while patrolling assigned areas after the evening shift.

As an unarmed patrol officer, you will observe and report suspicious activity, maintain a visible presence, and communicate clearly with store personnel and emergency services. Join a team that values people first and integrity.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, associates, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while communicating professionally with store personnel, customers, and responding emergency services.
