Job summary

Circle K in Austintown, OH is hiring for a part-time Clerk to support evening shifts at Store 2743132, 5163 Mahoning Ave. You will greet customers, assist with purchases and operate cash registers with accuracy.

The role requires customer service skills, basic math, and the ability to stand for long periods. Prior retail experience is preferred and on-call or irregular hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Retail sales experience preferred.
• Ability to operate cash registers, scanners and other point‑of‑sale equipment.
• Ability to work as scheduled including arriving on time.
• Ability to communicate information clearly to customers and colleagues.
• Ability to perform the four basic arithmetic operations.
• Ability to perform essential duties and physical functions as described.
• Ability to work in the conditions described in the job description.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter and thank them as they leave.
• Ring up sales accurately at the register.
• Provide assistance and recommendations to customers.
• Operate fuel and other machines as needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety.
• Assist with inventory and merchandising tasks.
• Report discrepancies to the Store Manager.
• Attend meetings and work irregular hours if required.
