Job summary

Capital Vacations is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee exterior care and day-to-day upkeep of our resort properties. You will manage tasks, schedule maintenance work, and ensure high safety standards in line with OSHA guidelines.

Responsibilities include coordinating repairs, supervising staff, and maintaining pools and related facilities. A strong background in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and a focus on safety is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Two years of experience as a maintenance supervisor.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or Aquatic Facility Operator (APO) certification.
• Hazardous material handling training within six months of hire date.
• Experience in care, maintenance, and repair of large, commercial pools and facilities.
• Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintains upkeep of the resort property.
• Determines materials, equipment, and supplies needed for tasks.
• Orders supplies promptly to complete projects.
• Performs maintenance including painting, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Coordinates or inspects heating, cooling and ventilation systems.
• Establishes and manages employee work schedules and daily tasks.
• Provides training and supervision to other staff and enforces safety rules.
