Trinity Health's Pittsburgh Mercy is seeking a Residential Support Specialist to provide person-centered care in a home setting in Carnegie, PA 15106. You will develop care plans and support daily living tasks.

You must have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, pass clearances, and complete required training. The role offers benefits from day one and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to drive an agency vehicle.
• Ability to pass Act 33/34/73 clearances.
• Pre-employment drug screening, physical exam, and TB test.
• Completion of Department of Public Welfare Medication Training within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Personalized support: Develop and implement individualized care plans reflecting each resident’s unique needs, goals and preferences.
• Daily living assistance: Help residents with personal hygiene, meals, medication administration, and household tasks to encourage independence.
• Behavioral support: Collaborate with the care team to apply positive behavioral strategies in a calm living environment.
• Community engagement: Organize and participate in recreational outings, social events, and community activities.
• Team collaboration: Work with healthcare professionals and staff to ensure holistic care and share observations and progress.

Education
